Today we live in a world where harsh words, lies and character assassination move at the speed of light to for millions to see. We also live in a world that is exponentially more narcissistic than ever before. “If it doesn’t help me… forget thee.”

If you’d like to rise above all of this to be a unique example to coworkers, friends and family we have some steps for you. In the business world of radio these steps will also help you attract people, especially talented people? Here are the tips...they work:

 

1. Use bright and cheerful words and phrases to describe other people. Make it a rule to have a big positive word for all friends and associates. Especially while discussing an absent third party, use nice words and phrases to compliment that individual. Sooner or later the third party hears what has been said and the positive thought puts you in great standing with the person.

 

2. Be good-humored about the shortcomings of others, and you'll find it easier to face your own shortcomings. Remember that your faults are as overwhelming or as insignificant as your imagination makes them.

 

3. Use positive words to outline plans to others. Words like "good news," or "genuine opportunity," allow minds to sparkle. Promote victory and you will observe eyes lightening up. You will definitely win support.

 

4. Also use positive and cheerful words and phrases to describe how you feel. Respond by saying "Just wonderful" or, "Great." Try to feel wonderful at every possible opportunity and you will begin to feel wonderful and great too! Feeling great always helps to win friends.

 

5. Always treat others like you would like them to treat you in any given situation. Do this even if you know people around you will not give you this same courtesy. It is the right thing to do. The thrill of revenge is always dwarfed the peace of mind of doing the right thing. In time, many will learn from your examples far more than from your words.
