Salem
Communications has launched Faith Talk Magazine, a regional
publication that initially is a cooperative effort between Salem
Publishing, a division of Salem Communications, and Salem's
talk/teaching radio stations. Markets featuring the magazine,
which expected to reach more than 340,000 homes across America,
are Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Pittsburgh,
Portland and Washington, D.C.
“We have worked closely the entire Salem radio team to develop a
magazine that complements our talk/teaching radio stations,”
commented Jim Cumbee, president of Non-Broadcast Media for Salem
Communications. “Faith Talk Magazine brings to life in words and
pictures what listeners hear on Salem's talk/teaching formatted

30th Annual American Music Awards
have announced nominees in the Contemporary Inspirational
Category. The nominees are: Avalon (Sparrow), Jars Of Clay
(Essential) & P.O.D.

with Provident Music Distribution effective on January 1, 2003.

announces its end of operations today. "It's been an incredible
two-plus-years," said Scott Hawk, President and founder of
WebRock.net. "And it's with great sadness that we've decided to
shut down the station." WebRock.net launched in August 2000. In

with the company to maintain his Nashville-based marketing and
consulting firm, Glenn Wagner Resource Group. Dennis Disney and
his agency, D-Squared Entertainment, will continue to oversee
the company's artist development that currently includes Ceili

Innamorato has been named Director of Programming for KAIM-FM
The Fish 95.5, KHNR-AM News/Talk 650, and KHCM-AM Country 940 in
Honolulu. Innamorato was previously Brand Manager and Program
Director for Clear Channel's San Diego station cluster. He also
held various positions at New Planet Radio, Secret
Communications, and United Broadcasting/Crescent Communications.
He is succeeding Michael Shishido, who has been promoted to the
position of Creative Director for Salem Media of Hawaii, where
he will oversee all areas of production for Salem's Honolulu

Communications announced today the renaming of CCM
Communications to Salem Publishing. The name change reflects
Salem Publishing's expanded scope and includes Salem
Communications' publishing operations, CCM Magazine, Youth
Worker, Faith Talk Magazine, Worship Leader, Half Time, and
Guideposts for Teens. Edward G. Atsinger III, President and CEO,
commented, "The renaming of CCM Communications to Salem

Communications promotes Allen Power to Regional Vice President
of Operations. The announcement was made by Executive Vice
President, Radio, Joe D. Davis. With this promotion, Power, who
is GM of Salem Media of Georgia, will assume direct operational
oversight of the Southeast US radio markets and will provide a
leadership position in the company's national radio business.

launched Devotion Music, a sub-division of Cul De Sac Records.

same station revenues and broadcast cash flow increase 15.0% and
25.5%. For the quarter ending September 30, 2002, net
broadcasting revenue increased 15.9% to $38.7 million from $33.3
million in the same period a year ago. Broadcast cash flow (BCF)
increased 12.8% to $14.0 million from $12.4 million in the
corresponding 2001 period. The company's non-broadcast media
businesses, OnePlace.com and CCM Communications, generated
profit of $0.2 million for the quarter, compared to a loss of
$0.3 million for the same period in 2001.
Commenting on these results, Edward G. Atsinger III,
President and CEO said, "We continue to report what we believe
are some of the strongest same station revenue and cash flow
growth rates in the industry. Through the combination of focused
operations, strong, stable programming and the continued growth
of our music stations, we have delivered strong financial
performance. In addition, with a large percentage of our radio
station portfolio in a launch or early development stage, we
believe Salem is very well positioned to continue delivering
some of the strongest revenue and cash flow growth in the radio

Communications has named Christopher Gould as General Manager
for its Tampa station cluster overseeing WTWD-AM and WTBN-AM.
Prior to joining Salem, Christopher spent ten years serving in
advertising sales and marketing positions in Boston, MA and Palm
Beach, FL for several radio broadcasters, including James
Crystal Radio, CBS Radio, Evergreen Media and Fairbanks
Communications.
Additionally, Salem announced that WTWD AM 910 will be
repositioned under the call letters "WTBN", thus becoming WTBN
AM 910. With both stations simulcasting the talk/teaching
format, they will be branded "Tampa Bay's Christian Talk" and
can be heard beyond the Tampa-St. Petersburg market, reaching
into parts of the Orlando and Sarasota markets. Upon the
completion of all announced transactions, the company will own
and operate 84 radio stations, including 54 stations in the top
