Christian Broadcaster/Writer

Looking for a part-time position in Christian radio…preferring Arizona or the Southwest region in a small or medium market station. I was a full-time Christian radio broadcaster from 1976 to 1997, and have served in pastoral ministry since leaving radio.  I’m not young, but I’m not old.  My experience includes several major market stations.  My voice and demeanor are mature.  If you’re looking for an awesome, over-the-top high-energy dude, I am not your man.  My writing skills are very good, and I am skilled at producing newsletters, and other promotional materials. Most comfortable in non-com, but could work commercial as well.  I am comfortable in both contemporary or inspirational formats.

Hi, my name is Josh Gray. I recently graduated Liberty University with a Bachelor's in Communications and I have over 5 years of radio experience. I am a very motivated and driven broadcaster and I try to bring my best every time that I'm on the air. Although I'm young, I've working in radio for a while--jumping on every opportunity that came my way. By 16, I was setting up interviews with bands like Relient K and Skillet for a weekend program I did on a local radio station. While attending LU, I was heavily involved with the radio station--serving as music director and host of the afternoon drive as well as jumping headfirst into several other duties. I am also very willing and ready to receive constructive criticism. I know that I'm young and I'm excited to get better and learn from those who have been in the business longer. Most important, I have a heart for ministry. Being a part of Christian radio would be a dream come true. i would love to be able to enter the field I love while also being a positive force in the lives of my listeners. I currently reside in Titusville,FL and am getting married in February. We are both more than willing to relocate and I would love to hear from anyone who might have a place for me at their station. You can contact me at jmgray2@liberty.edu

Entertainment's fine,  but how about challenging your listeners?   On a talk show I did for two and a half years I challenged my listeners to find out about what was really behind global warming,  the seeker sensitive church growth movement,  and more.    On morning drive I sought to deliver relevant local news and encourage listeners to not only make it through the day but to adopt a Christian world view.     So, a total of about four and a half years in a teaching and talk format.  Seminary grad,  former pastor,  active in street ministry,   wanting to help move your listeners from observing to ministering.    Willing to relocate anywhere.      Jim  Phillips,   chago244@quiktx.com

Looking to make a move to a place where ALL of my God-given talents and abilities can be used to their fullest!  I've been in radio since 1993 and have done nearly everything--morning AND afternoon drive (great bits!), production, news, sports, interviews, remotes, public appearances.  I've been music director, assistant PD, and even interim PD. Want to find a place where I can land for the long-term and cease being a radio vagabond. Willing to relocate anywhere west of the Rocky Mountains where the air quality is good, due to wife's health issues. Call Randall 520-678-0025  western_sloper495@earthlink.net
