1.
Personally how do you keep the ministry in the “business”?
Well we are a
brand new radio station so we are just starting in the business so
for now we are receiving support from the church but we are able to
have commercials and advertisements.
2.
Overall, how is Christian radio different today, from 5 years ago?
Now we have more
facilities to have a radio station. The costs are cheaper than 5
years ago overall in internet radio. The cost came down so if you
want to open your radio station on internet you can find very good
prices with different servers.
3. What do
you think are the main characteristics of today’s Christian radio
PD?
Well now most of
the Christian radio stations are more professional than before.
Maybe we look like a main radio station because our quality is
getting better. We are working to have good production and
professional broadcasters.
4. What
criteria do you require for a song to be played on your station?
First of all the
lyrics and secondly the music quality.
5. What
kind of promotions work best for Christian radio?
I think the best
for the radio is getting promotions in churches, sellt-shirts, and
promote concerts.
6. How do
you think Christian Record labels can better serve Christian radio?
Responding
quickly to our emails and responding to our questions and being more
able to help us.
7. In your
opinion what are the biggest obstacles facing Christian internet
station?
Our limits are
access to internet! As of today it's the only way to hear an
internet radio station on your car or your walkman. But we believe
in 10 years that internet radio will be more available to our
listeners and maybe access will be free to everyone.
8. What do
you believe is the primary role of the Christian radio air
personality?
Have a good and
fresh message and great productions and hear the suggestions of the
listeners.
9. What
(if any) Christian radio stations do you consider as innovators
today?
For me RADIO U
is one of the innovators.
10. Where
do you see Christian radio in 5 years? (specifically internet
radio)
Well our goal is
getting better everyday and in less of 5 years have our own signal
in FM.
